The Food Allergy Management course is designed to discuss food allergies within the classroom or child care center setting. The program gives information and resources to parents and school personnel on the physical and social effects of food allergies. The instructor provides recommendations for creating a healthy environment for students with food allergies.
AAFA offers a wide variety of resources for people with food allergies or those seeking more information. AAFA provides epinephrine auto injector (ex: EpiPen®) training, combined with a food allergy presentation, to school staff, child care center staff, or any other group seeking the training.
If you have a food allergy question, please feel free to contact aafa@aafastl.org.
If you would like to schedule a Food Allergy Management Class, please fill out our Community Outreach Request Form and fax or send it to the AAFA office and someone from the Program Department will contact you.
While all programs are offered to participants at no cost to the school/organization, we happily accept donations that give us the ability to offer programming to our community. To donate to AAFA, visit our donation page.
