The ABCs of Asthma and Allergies program is designed to educate the community, especially school personnel or parents, on the identification of asthma and allergy signs, symptoms, triggers and effective management of these chronic diseases. AAFA is able to provide one clock hour of continuing education credits to Early Childhood and Youth Development Professionals. Contact AAFA (314-645-2422) for details.
Focused Audiences:
- In-Services for School Personnel
- Informational Meetings for Parents
- Community Awareness Presentation for General Public
If you are interested in scheduling a course, please fill out our Community Outreach Request Form; someone from the Program Department will contact you within a week. Please contact AAFA a minimum of two-weeks in advance. Our event calendar does fill up quickly.
While all programs are offered to participants at no cost to the school/organization, we happily accept donations that give us the ability to offer programming to our community. To donate to AAFA, visit our donation page.
