Project Concern is a comprehensive asthma management program that provides life-saving medications, equipment, education and support to children with asthma and allergies up until age 22, in lower income families not covered or fully covered by insurance or government programs.

ABC’s of Asthma and Allergies Educational Program is a program designed to educate the community, especially schools, students and parents on the proper management of asthma and allergies. Information provided through these programs helps in the identification of asthma and allergy signs, symptoms, triggers and effective management of asthma and other allergic diseases.

Asthma and Allergy Essentials for Child Care Providers© educates child care providers on how to care for children with asthma and allergies and provide a safe and healthy environment for children with these chronic diseases. This three hour course offers professional clock-hours to participants.

Food Allergy: Management for Schools is a course that provides information and resources for school personnel and child care providers on the effects of food allergy in their setting and on how to provide healthy and safe environments for their students with food allergies.

Asthma Management and Education Program, July 25, 2012
The Asthma Management and Education Program recognizes the critical role allied health professionals play in educating and caring for their patients with asthma and allergies. Attendees will learn the latest techniques in asthma care and receive current and reliable patient education information and materials. This program has been approved for 2.4 contact hours by the Maryland Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Accreditation (ANCC).  The program has been approved for 2 CRCE credits by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
